The Lean Factory

History

The Lean Factory was started in 2005 by Leonardo Group Europe and Orgatex, in order to bring together non-competing companies that shared a common vision of bringing Lean and Flow Manufacturing knowledge, products and tools to companies across the world. The European Lean Factory grew quickly and now includes eleven members, including Bosch Rexroth, Wurth, Toyota Material Handling, SSI Schafer, Bloksma,  Identitytec and SAP. The Lean Factory Group has a presence at major trade shows in Europe, and has been conducting Lean Roadshow educational sessions throughout Germany and the UK.

The Lean Factory Group in the US was formed in 2008, with the founding members Leonardo Group Americas, Orgatex and Bosch Rexroth. Following the European model but with adaptations to the American market, Lean Roadshow have been presented in Los Angeles, Dalles, Wichita, Seattle and Phoenix. Our upcoming schedule of free Roadshows is displayed on the home page of this website.
